The electric locks (M-SVP/SVP) installed in the doors should be tested for correct functioning before delivery to the installation site.
When commissioning or servicing, the electric locks should be able to be tested quickly and independently of a 230 V connection.
Our solution
The dormakaba SVP TestBox meets both requirements SVP, M-SVP as well as SVA and SVI locks can be tested using an adapter cable when mains- or battery-operated (M-SVP not in battery mode).
The SVP TestBox gives you a robust device with which you can quickly and easily test all lock functions directly on the door.
Processors, retailers, installers or end customers/users can test electric locks themselves before delivery.

Product Details
Factory testing:
The 70960017 set comes with connectors and pre-assembled connection cables for your particular (M-) SVx lock application for plug-and-go testing. Before beginning, choose your lock type and lock parameters (analog/BUS operation, operating/closed-circuit current, etc.) using the flip switch. You can then send an opening signal to your lock via the flip switch (BUS) or button (analog) and carry out a functionality test. The lock’s status messages are displayed using the signal LEDs.
Testing on site:
Cable ends present at the customer’s site can be connected directly to the TestBox via the screw terminals provided or accessories 70960015 (analog) or ..16 (BUS). There is no need to remove the lock.
