Barrier-free design in fire doors
The SVA 2000 F & SVI 2000 F solution is the easy way to create barrier-free access with full motorised opening in fire doors without using complex additional components, such as emergency buffer modules (power reserve modules) or remote control units (via BUS technology DCW® or CAN-BUS).
Easy access with motorised unlocking
The motor lock really comes into its own when used in conjunction with access control and escape route security systems, as the doors can then be unlocked conveniently from a remote position. By combining it with automatic actuators such as the ED 100/250 with the DCW upgrade card, barrier-free access solutions tailored to specific application requirements can be implemented via the integrated DCW interface without an additional control unit. Once installed, the operating status as well as error messages are visually recognisable via an LED in the lock boxes.
Security
Thanks to the emergency escape function, the door leaves can be readily opened by simply operating the lever handle, while the automatic relocking mechanism ensures secure locking once the door has closed.
Range of monitoring functions
The feedback contacts of the locks allow monitoring of latches, bolts, cylinders and lever handles in the SVA locks and propellant bars as well as door handles for the SVI locks. The signalling functions are particularly suitable for monitoring and ensuring the convenient operation of doors in emergency exit and escape route systems, but can also be used to activate alarm systems or for remote monitoring systems.
Operational versatility
SVP & SVI locks are available in different models suitable for over-rebated or flush-closing timber doors and narrow-stile doors. They are flexible in terms of their installation position thanks to the DIN universal trip latch. They have been approved as emergency exit locks for doors in escape routes and for use on fire and smoke check doors. The SVA & SVI 2000 F in accordance with EN 1125 for panic doors with a horizontal push bar can also be used in escape routes.
