Europahafenkopf Bremen: a modern development with the latest technology for escape route control
A brand-new district has been created right beside the water near Bremen’s city center. Four buildings with distinctive sawtooth roofs now define the skyline and offer space for urban living and working. One of these is the new headquarters of the Zech Group, a century-old, medium-sized German construction company that does business around the world. The Zechhaus comprises a five-story base, an 18-story high-rise in solid construction, a two-story underground car park, and an imposing lobby with elevators to the offices. High ceilings offer panoramic views of the newly designed port complex.

Secure, modern and custom-made access systems: a must for every building
With dormakaba SafeRoute, the main building has a modern escape door control system that can be easily opened in an emergency and is protected against misuse in day-to-day life.
For the office entrances, a bidirectional escape door control system has been installed for doors that serve as emergency exits, in both directions.
The building entrances have an automatic KTV revolving door and ST Pro Green anti-intruder automatic sliding doors. These combine reliable anti-intruder protection for sliding doors with elegance and functionality.
At the entrance, access is controlled by the latest generation of Argus sensor gates, visually and functionally customized to the requirements and design of the building.
Digital access controls in the entrance area and all of the commercial areas ensure security on site now and in the future.
Many of the door systems, office doors and bathroom doors are equipped with almost silent door closers.
