EC Series Elevator Floor Controllers

The EC series elevator floor controllers are designed to secure floors by requiring assigned credentials when using an elevator. Keyscan elevator floor controls are reliable solutions for office and residential buildings with secure floors. dormakaba’s Keyscan door and elevator control units can be paired in a security installation as they leverage the same architecture and software. In many retrofit cases, the EC series of elevator floor controllers utilize existing infrastructure, including credentials, to increase cross system security functionality and minimize costs.

  • Elevator floor controllers function seamlessly with our 1, 2, 4 and 8 reader CA series door control units
  • Easily configurable reader settings supporting many Wiegand protocols
  • Up to 6000 transactions retained in transaction buffer
  • Auto-transfer protocol uploads transactions when communication is re-established after an interruption
  • Dual processors
  • Expanded flash memory allows for 45,000 credentials (90,000 with special order hardware)
  • Lockdown and global communication among multiple ACUs, server and sites (requires CIMs and CIM Link)
  • Removable terminal blocks
  • Accommodates 512 time schedules and 511 groups
  • Multiple inputs and outputs for expansion capability 

Technical Details

EC2500 
Best suited for two elevators servicing all floors and does not require individual unique control (eg: service elevator).

EC1500 
Best suited for elevator banks that require unique floor control such as service elevators.
