Product Details
Secure and convenient access control
The Basic 448 Lucky standard door opener is well-suited for the convenient release of general doors, for example when combined with intercoms or access control. Wherever controlled access, security and convenience are indispensible, the special advantages of the Lucky Strike effect guarantee universal applicability and a reliable door release.
Considerable simplification in planning and installation
The symmetrically designed housing makes it possible to install the Basic 448 Lucky in any position (LH / RH), which makes the daily planning and installation work much easier. Uniform housing dimensions, a simple connection to all conventional operational voltages and an adjustable latch guarantee an effortless adjustment to a wide range of doors and construction features.
Consistent product benefits
With a possible on-load factor of 100 % the practical Lucky Strike effect offers considerably improved preload behaviour and enables activation without an alarm signal. Integrated overvoltage protection effectively prevents damage to preconnected products, such as access control. The Basic 448 Lucky is equally suitable for flush-closing and non-rebated doors.
Versions
The Basic 448 Lucky is available in an operating current design and can be operated with multivoltage between 12 and 24 V DC. Operations with alternating voltage between 12 and 24 V AC are optionally possible with a GL rectifier module. The door opener is also available in versions with a feedback contact and easy-adapt latch guide.
Secure and convenient access control
The standard electric strike Basic 448 Lucky conveniently unlocks standard doors and may be used in conjunction with intercoms, access control systems and the like. Furthermore, the specific benefits of the Lucky Strike effect ensure universal compatibility and reliable unlocking whenever access control, security and user convenience are inseparable.
Low planning and mounting effort
Thanks to uniform case dimensions, easy connection to all conventional operating voltages and the adjustable latch, the system allows easy adaptation to all kinds of doors and structural conditions. The symmetrical case of the Basic 448 Lucky allows position-independent (non-handed) mounting and thereby reduces the day-to-day planning and installation work.
Uniform product benefits
With its 100 % duty factor, activation without acoustic signal and an optimised behaviour under preload, the Lucky Strike effect is in step with actual practice. Due to the integrated overload protection, there is virtually no risk for upstream connected devices such as an access control system. In addition, the Basic 448 Lucky is suitable for over-rebated and flush-closing doors.
Versions
The Basic 448 Lucky is available in fail-secure design and operable at multi-voltage between 12 and 24 V DC. With the optional GL rectifier module, the system is also operable at AC voltage between 12 and 24 V AC. In addition, dormakaba also provides versions with feedback contact and Easy Adapt latch guide.
