    Compliant to IS EN 13637

    SafeRoute the escape route system, is one of only a few in the UKI which is compliant but can still give you the range of requirements that is needed even for complex systems.

    Controlled alarm opening

    In the event of an alarm, an individual or group of escape route doors can be released via the emergency button or an external system. The alarm is both visual and acoustic and can communicate with a building management system where necessary. Ensuring a clear and guided route out of the building.

    Authorised activation

    A door can be set so an authorised person using the key switch can enter or exit within a time frame, giving flexibility for the door use. Three are available: Short term, Long term & Permanent unlocking

  • Automated Locking
    Automatic Locking

    The system will automatically lock the door after an authorised exit or entry, where relocking is not possible an alarm will sound. Ensuring the door security and functionality is maintained quickly.

  • Time Limiting
    Time limiting access

    The system can be freely accessible at set times, enabling a free flow but restricting the time where necessary. Ideal for a nursery, office or shops

    Tailored to your needs

    Due to the innovative Licensing model, you can tailor the requirements of the escape route to your individual needs only paying for the functions you actually want. The system can be upgraded at anytime, the hardware stays in place you just expand the license requirements, easily and discreetly.

    SafeRoute was developed with ease of planning and commissioning in mind. The modular design of the hardware allows for easy retrofitting or expansion of the SafeRoute system. Installation is via the DCW cable and can be easily installed and commissioned by trained installers.

    All escape route doors can be networked over long distances. They can be centrally monitored and controlled using specific dormakaba management software or systems. SafeRoute also enables integration into existing building management systems.

    A lock area needs to be installed between two operating room doors. Not only does it need to secure the escape route but it needs a time delay between opening the next door, to ensure full decontamination can be performed. The SafeRoute system can be commissioned in such a way that this can be easily installed and maintained.

    A networked system of up to 4 doors can be controlled as a continual escape route as well as individually operable where necessary.     An escape route that needs to have a time control to ensure that the door can be accessed free flowing at certain times, to ensure a smooth drop off and pick up but it remains secure outside of this time.     Delayed Egress: Protection against misuse in the Retail environment

    A single door with low foot traffic, that requires an escape route, but also needs to ensure that it is protected from misuse in everyday life. A Time delay of 8-15 seconds can be set, to alert security personnel to an un-authorized exit. This is a simple option using the SafeRoute system, to securely protect the door whilst maintaining its functionality.
