The course kicks off with an introduction to the basics of access control and the exos philosophy. Here, you will find out who has access to which areas and how this is implemented in practice. You will familiarise yourself with the system topology, get to know the peripheral devices and understand how online and standalone components are integrated into the overall system. You will also learn how people and their media are integrated into the access control system and how to manage them effectively. You will learn how to define access rights and develop a comprehensive access concept to optimise the security and efficiency of your facility. You will learn how to set up the rights structure efficiently, configure administration areas and profiles, and how to use room zones, door groups and time zones correctly. We will cover door control and exceptional day handling in detail to ensure that your access control system is working optimally. In the final part of the course, you will have the opportunity to apply your newly acquired knowledge to a real-life case study and develop a comprehensive access concept.
