In this training course, you will also learn how to correctly use and adjust door closers in order to improve the security and comfort of your buildings.

The target group for this course includes specialist personnel from the field of building maintenance and building administration as well as the wood and metal industry. This course is not open to private individuals.

Trainer in Escape Route Security & Door Control

Our training course provides participants with basic knowledge and practical skills when it comes to handling door closers. After completing this course, participants will be able to name basic technical terms relating to doors and understand the relevant standards and regulations for door closers. They will also be able to: explain specific terms from the areas of backcheck, delayed closing, closing force adjustment and latching action; gain an insight into the dormakaba door closer portfolio; and make adjustments to door closers. This training provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of door closers and enables them to apply this knowledge in practice.

The target group for this course includes partner companies of dormakaba Switzerland Ltd and specialist personnel from the building maintenance sector, the wood industry and the metal industry.

In this course, you will learn how to find the right type of door closer for different areas of application and door requirements. You will receive a comprehensive overview of preventive fire protection and the various types of hold-open devices and hold-open systems. The practical training units will give you the knowledge and skills required to install dormakaba hold-open systems correctly and to carry out tests to ensure that they function properly. Learn about the steps and requirements that must be observed during the phase of initial acceptance and subsequent handover of the hold-open system to the operator. Also learn about how you can maintain and service dormakaba hold-open systems in an effective manner to safeguard reliability and service life.

The target group for the training includes partner companies of dormakaba Switzerland Ltd, as well as specialised personnel from the wood and metal industry.

With this certificate, participants are authorised to install, wire and parameterise dormakaba hold-open systems, and also carry out initial acceptance tests and annual maintenance.

Trainer in Escape Route Security & Door Control

In our training course, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of escape routes in Switzerland, including the legal framework. You will learn the difference between EN 179 and EN 1125 and be able to differentiate between our self-locking panic locks. This training also provides in-depth knowledge of the components of the SafeRoute escape route system and their functions. Participants will understand the functional scope of licences and applications and will be able to plan them efficiently. This knowledge enables you to implement escape route security and planning in a professional manner.
