Nestled between the mountains and the city, Skyline is a 15-story, 802,000 sq.ft., property that expands housing availability in the lower-density neighborhood expands housing availability in the lower-density neighborhoods outside Denver, Colorado’s urban core. Comprised of 413 apartment units, 93 apartment-style hotel units and street-level commercial space, Skyline also offers residents expansive community spaces, including an outdoor pool, a fitness area and two courtyards.

Heavy duty door closers

For both high- and low-traffic areas, Skyline needed reliable, durable door closers. dormakaba’s HD8000 and HD7000 models, with their automotive-grade silicon alloy exterior and all-weather hydraulic fluid, offered an easy-to-install solution that exceeded ANSI/BHMA 156.4 Grade 1 standards. These versatile closers fit a variety of doors and frames across the 15-story, multi-use property.

Industry-proven mechanical locks and hinges

Because the 802,000 sq.ft. property is part apartment complex, part hotel, and part commercial space, it was vital that Skyline discovered door hardware solutions that were as easy to change as they were to maintain.

Balancing durability, flexibility and long-lasting performance, dormakaba’s 40H Mortise Series locks are built to accommodate heavy traffic, all while requiring minimal maintenance. With a tough steel frame and easily interchangeable core, the 40H allows for customized master keying and quick keying changes.
