The dormakaba DKPS Series power supply is designed to convert 120-240 VAC, 50 or 60Hz into a continuous 2, 4 or 6 Amp supply at 12 or 24VDC power outputs. The DKPS series power supplies have 2 supervisory outputs (AC power fail & battery fail) and the power distribution controller board also has 2 supervisory outputs (DC Fail & status) that can be connected to remote access control units to monitor the power supply operation. Supervisory outputs have form C relay.

This DKPS model includes a power distribution controller board that features electronic over-current protection on the 8 voltage outputs that can be used in a wide array of access control and egress door applications. Application permitting, the DKPS series power supply provides several standby battery options for continuous power in case of an AC power failure for a specified period of time.

  • Built-in dedicated charger for sealed lead acid or gel cell type batteries
  • Battery load and charge test every 48 hr
  • Battery reversal protection
  • Low battery indication at 11.40/22.80 volts
  • Low battery disconnect at 10.10/20.30 volts
  • Immediate switch-over to stand-by battery upon AC failure
  • Common “Batt.Fault” CMOS relay and indicator for all battery and charger fault 30VDC@60mA
  • CMOS relay output and indicator for AC failure within 60 seconds 30VDC@60mA
  • LEDs status display on enclosure door
  • Common “Out Fault” CMOS relay for DC failure on any of the outputs 30VDC@60mA
  • Battery charging leads included
  • FPDB (Fire Panel Disconnect Board) now a standard feature
  • Tamper switch optional (required when installation must meet UL294 Edition 6 or higher)
