On December 2017, Classic V and SL2500 locks were discontinued for service and replacement parts. The reason is unexpected supplier issues due to component depletion and obsolescence. Batteries for Classic V and SL2500 were supplied until 2018. Since 2018, dormakaba is no longer supporting these locks.

Detailed of the discontinuation announcement are included below in the download section. However please note that the MT mag is no longer a recommended upgrade option. Customers are invited to upgrade to RFID as all magstripe locks have entered the end of life process.
