With Apple Wallet, we are introducing innovative technology for hotels that give your guests integrated access right from their iPhone and Apple Watch. From your hotel’s app, guests can add their room key to Apple Wallet for easy access to their room and your other amenities.  Once they complete the check-in process in the app, their room key will be activated and ready to go. All guests need to do is hold their iPhone or Apple Watch near the reader to unlock doors. It’s easy, convenient, and private.

dormakaba Compatible Locks 
The following dormakaba locks and readers are available with NFC Apple Wallet capability via a firmware update. 

RT Plus, *MT RFID, Saffire LX, *Quantum RFID, *QuantumIV, Quantum Pixel+ and RAC5 Access Control Readers 

*Version 2 locks only 

NFC Technology 
Guests can access places quickly and safely, all without opening any additional apps.

Express Mode 
Guests don’t even need to wake or unlock their iPhone or Apple Watch to access their rooms and amenities. 

Power Reserve 
If a guest’s iPhone needs a charge, their room key in Apple Wallet will still work for up to five hours. 

Privacy and Security 
Protect your keys with the security of iPhone and Apple Watch. Guests can use the Find My app to lock and help locate their device if misplaced. 

Share your Keys 
Guests can securely share room keys, customize controls for recipients, update permissions or revoke key access.
